Where to obtain Medicine when the surgery is closed

In an emergency a chemist can, at their discretion,, provide up to five days supply of your regular prescription drugs providing certain conditions are met. It is advisable to call ahead to a pharmacy if you are requesting an emergency supply.

Intercare - Medical aid for Africa

It is estimate that over £800,000,000 worth of NHS prescribed medication is disposed of each year. Those that currently get returned are incinerated at an additional cost to the NHS. Our Dispensary has registered with Inter-care to help support health centres in Africa. They collect unused medicines from us and distribute them free of charge to over 100 approved clinics in seven countries
